Kitchen trash in your sink
We realize that making the kitchen refuse go down the drain is tempting and convenient than dumping it in the garbage bin. Eventually, the mess will be washed into the drainage, right? Although this may be true, note that the food waste you let go down your kitchen sink flows through the pipes and drains, and it is just a matter of time for your drains to get clogged with it. Eggshells

Flour
Another staple ingredient in every kitchen, aside from eggs, is flour. If you use it to make your favourite waffles or bake a cake, never let it go down your kitchen sink. Milk

Like other dairy products, milk is considered a particularly polluting substance because of its high need for oxygen. Expired medicines or pills
Medicines or pills should be disposed of properly, whether outdated or not, and not go down the drain. Remember, to be used again, all waste water is processed. Therefore, the contaminants on such medications will potentially contribute back to your drinking water or the environment. While this waste water will be processed, some chemicals used in these medicines will not be purified and will also have negative impacts on humans and the environment. Coffee grounds
Coffee is another main staple in the kitchen. Who does not like freshly roasted coffee, doesn’t he? So how do you handle the coffee grounds? Answer: not through the sink.
